Custom Staircase in St. Charles IL
This custom staircase in St. Charles IL is a project that we recently worked on. DuBois Builders was contracted to apply the custom finish on this beautiful custom staircase that started down on the basement level and curved its way up to a third floor landing that we also sanded down and applied a custom finish.
This staircase was hand sanded with extra attention paid to the top of the treads so that the wear pattern on them would give the appearance of an old staircase that had years of people walking up and down it. The custom mixed stain that was used was also hand rubbed in these areas to make the treads look worn as well. If you look close in some of the pictures you can see the wear pattern going down the staircase.
